One of the perpetual fears of living on the opposite side of Rock Creek road is the risk that the bridge leading to Trouthaven will be compromised (and unusable!). The most common cause of bridge damage is large logs becoming lodged on one of the abutments. This is exactly what happened last fall. Here’s a video taken by one of the Trouthaven residents of the removal of just such a log.
